Renters can participate without installing panels at home. The project must be in your electric utility’s service territory, and bill credits and costs depend on the subscription contract.

Low- and moderate-income customers may qualify for additional savings under Maryland’s community solar rules. Eligibility must be verified by the subscriber organization or subscription coordinator; receiving an assistance benefit does not by itself confirm approval.
